***This post is a recount of the trip after I returned to Singapore from the trip.***
Woke up to a super cold morning and it was time for laundry. Running out of clean clothes to wear so have to do this laundry. This set me back around 2 hours in the morning cause I had to wait for the clothes to wash and dry in the dryer. Ate my breads while I waited.
After everything was done, I left to go explore Hiroshima proper. It was a chill day in slippers because I got blister's from the hike at Mount Misen. My first destination was the Hiroshima bomb museum, seeing as it is the closest attraction to my hostel. Paid the JP¥200 entrance fee and went into the museum.
Being a Saturday, the museum was packed with tourists. Damn sian. I didn't stay long though, because the images and stories being shown are too graphic for me. As much as I am a soldier that wants to fight a war, I don't want to witness this kind of suffering.
After the museum, I walked to town and explored different shopping malls. It was at the shopping malls that I saw a lot of toys that I really wanted to buy then check it off my list. But no point carrying it all to Tokyo at this point in the trip. Recorded a whole bunch of nonsense about the toys that I used to grow up with.
Took note of everything I wanted to buy once I arrive at Tokyo. What a great time seeing my childhood come alive in Japan again! I only managed to buy one Takara Tomy toy car for $3 cause it was the Hiroshima tram that I sat on after returning from Mount Misen.
After shopping, I went to eat Yoshinoya. I worked at Yoshinoya for like a good 3 months during Secondary School so this was a special moment in my heart. The Yoshinoya here in Japan is crazy nice compared to Singapore's.
Still very hungry so went to some noodles restaurant and ate another huge bowl of noodles. Shiok already then continued walking. This life of being able to eat whatever I want whenever I want it is damn shiok.
Checked out a few more card shops and instruments shops before calling it a day. Real chill day legit. Had a random McDonalds meal at a random street in Hiroshima cause I was bored and cold.
Then I walked back to the hostel to continue my 2 cans of Strong Zero.
There is nothing much to write about for day 5 considering I did relatively nothing much.
